With an impressive 50-year history in the retail sector, Keravan Muovi & Lelu Oy, the group behind the Lelukauppa Pro toy shop, stepped into new territory in June 2014 by launching an online shop and a supporting Google AdWords campaign.. “The online shop is a completely new venture for us and we’ve learned a lot in a short space of time,” reveals representative of Lelukauppa Pro, Päivi Linnapuomi. “If this new step into online trading takes off, we’ll be able to be much more competitive in the sector and secure the jobs of our existing staff.” The company’s AdWords campaigns have generated a lot of interest in its online shop, with a peak in visits during the Christmas season. Lelukauppa Pro markets its products across the whole of Finland, as well as locally, where it targets around 10% of its advertising. “The success of online and offline retail is founded on visibility and presence. As such, Google’s services are really important for businesses,” concludes a satisfied Päivi.
